The $25 billion Global Logistics Center will improve Southern California's supply chain capabilities and act as a distribution hub for locations all over the continent.

The largest planned logistics and business park and the largest net zero logistics development in North America are both in the planning stages. The $25 billion Global Logistics Center, which is situated in Moreno Valley, California, intends to improve Southern California's supply chain capabilities.

The building, whose construction will take seven years, will act as a distribution hub for locations all around the continent. Also, the development will have pedestrian-friendly walkways, cafés, restaurants, art galleries, breweries, and public spaces.

The Global Logistics Center will span 2,600 acres and be owned by real estate developer Highland Fairview with Stantec serving as the primary consultant. The facility will utilise sophisticated technology to optimise resource utilisation for transportation, boost shipping efficiency, and lower carbon emissions. The distribution hub, which is home to several national brands and logistics companies, will be able to deliver over night to 11 Western states and within three days to any location in the continental United States.

Almost 40 million square feet of rooftop area will be available for solar integration in the net zero construction. It will make use of 1,080 EV charging stations as well as autonomous vehicle (AV) and electric vehicle (EV) technology.
