Pitch transportation for the T20 World Cup has been aided by DP World for ICC. A logistics company called DP World has declared that it intends to grow its relationship with the International Cricket Council (ICC).

DP World first partnered with the ICC in mid-2023 as a second-tier partner, concentrating on providing logistical support. But now, they've developed into the premier partner.

Since joining forces in June 2023, DP World and the ICC have collaborated extensively to distribute cricket equipment to grassroots players and offer astute logistics at the highest caliber of ICC events. As stated in an official statement, "DP World today joins the ICC's premium partner tier, reaffirming the brand's long-term commitment and mission to expanding the sport worldwide.

This news breaks right before the ICC T20 World Cup kicks out. Notably, DP World was instrumental in helping the ICC with its logistical needs, especially when it came to moving pitches for the tournament, which was held in the USA for the first time.

Apart from moving pitches, DP World will also take care of moving match balls for every match in the T20 World Cup. They will also manage the trophy tour that delivers the trophies to the event. The duration of this extended contract is scheduled until 2027.

On June 2, the USA and Canada will play at Grand Prairie Stadium in a historic match. This is the first significant ICC tournament to be hosted by a nation in North America.
