According to the deal, Maersk will take over as JCB's new worldwide Lead Logistics Provider (LLP), managing their designated third-party warehouse provider and providing end-to-end supply chain management services. Maersk will set up a global control tower in the United Kingdom and three regional control towers in the United States, China, and India to provide ocean, air, road, and rail cargo services in order to manage JCB's whole supply chain.

Maersk will also manage JCB's UK warehouse supplier, Unipart Logistics, on an LLP basis and provide consolidation and customs services across multiple locations.
